'As If We Live To Bear No Scars' is a multi-genre performance that weaves together themes of racism, family, and the triumph of the human spirit, to bring a message of hope for what comes 'after' when the 'before' has been tragic.

Written and produced by Andrea Bredbeck, a Boston artist and writer, the work centers on the true story of a young woman who has survived the trauma of rape.

Combining dance, theatre, an original score, poetry, film, art, and more, and incorporating ASL signing for the deaf as an integral part of the performance, the work in progress invites your participation.
